  • 35g Ombar chocolate (we used Spiced Orange Hazelnut Truffle)
  • 250ml plant-based milk (we used oat milk)
  • Optional extras e.g. agave, cinnamon, chilli, salt


  • 1.

    Warm 250ml of your favourite plant-based milk (we’re using oat milk) in a saucepan over medium heat or in a microwave. Stir the milk regularly to avoid burning or a “grainy” texture.

  • 2.

    Chop at least half a 35g Ombar into small pieces. Add more to intensify the rich, chocolatey flavour.

  • 3.

    Once the milk is warm, take off the heat (or out of the microwave) and add the pieces of Ombar. Whisk until the chocolate has all melted into the milk.

  • 4.

    Add any optional extras, e.g. sweeteners (agave or sugar) or spices (cinnamon, chilli or ginger) or salt.

  • 5.

    Enjoy your hot choc!
